Kalshi Rolls Out New Commercial, Apparently Airing During NBA Finals
The AI-created spot for the prediction markets platform uses the tagline "The World’s Gone Mad. Trade It.”
Kalshi is launching a new marketing campaign, with a commercial scheduled to air tonight during Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
The tagline in the spot is “The World’s Gone Mad. Trade It.”
NBA betting has been the biggest market by trading volume at Kalshi in recent weeks. Users can bet on the winners of single games, the NBA champion, and other related markets in all 50 states.
The ad was made entirely by AI. You can watch it via the official Kalshi account here or below:
Kalshi told me (after initial publication) that the ad would only appear on the YouTube TV version of the broadcast. The producer of the spot said it would appear on TV via his accounts on YouTube and X/Twitter:
The Disney approved our insane AI ad to run during the NBA Finals 🤣
Kalshi hired me to make the most unhinged NBA Finals commercial possible. Network TV actually approved this GTA-style madness to be shown during the game. 🤣 High-dopamine Veo 3 videos will be the ad trend of 2025.

This was really fun to make with you all. I can't believe they let us run this during the NBA finals tonight
He talked more about producing the spot here.
The ad is notable for a few reasons:
The NBA has weighed in on sports betting via prediction markets and raised numerous concerns in a letter to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Apparently, those concerns won’t stop an ad about trading/betting on the Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers.
The Finals air via ABC, which is owned by Disney; Disney and ESPN make money via a licensing and marketing deal with ESPN Bet, the sports betting brand of Penn Entertainment.
Despite leaning into “betting” terminology in other marketing efforts, Kalshi doesn’t call this a betting product in the spot.
Kalshi had previously produced and aired a commercial about betting on the Oscars.
